Originally developed as an audio/video live performance, Marco Monfardini based his research for Detect on the decoding of inaudible sounds, sound generated by electromagnetic emissions left from electronic devices and inaudible to the human ear.  By using various electro-smog detectors Marco Monfardini creates a sort of detection mapping where electromagnetic emissions are the starting point for the sonorous development of each single composition.

FRANCK VIGROUX - ATOTAL





Vigroux's artistic approach integrates new media and performing arts. He is a multifaceted artist whose music works range from electro-acoustic and experimental electronic music to modern composition, improvisation, radio works, avant rock, and beyond. Primarily known as a guitar player, he also manipulates electronics, modular synths and has composed works for contemporary classical ensembles.   This is Vigor's latest full length work of his uncompromising signature sound of colossal electronic music.  It gathers material from Franck's latest live A/V of the the same name.

GARDEN ISLAND - GAF & THE LOVE SUPREME ARKESTRA





Spectacular mystical jazz infused psychedelics from Canary islands cult band GAF. Adopting a series of different addendums to their names (Love Supreme Arkestra, La Estrela de la Muerte, etc) to illustrate what mutation or influence they are feeding through at the time of recording, the Love Supreme Arkestra here being the more Coltrane-ish (Alice more than John) and Sun Ra-esque influenced the matic of the project.  Over a series of seven themes, we can hear saxophones, marimbas and rhythmic sections intertwining like spiral snakes over a burning sea of lava.  Recorded live during a completely improvised jam session on a sunny afternoon in the mountainous region of La Esperanza in Tenerife, the band lets rip and dives into a world of musical liberation by embracing the aforementioned pioneers of the genre whilst taking their surroundings as a new pillar of musical freedom. The result really shines through its seventy-four mins of mind blowing adventurous music.  A journey to the peaks of the Teide Volcano and down the valley into the blue and black volcanic coast of liberation!  For fans of Sun Ra, Alice Coltrane and every single mystic brother and sister carrying the free spiritual jazz torch!  Dive DEEP!

LALALAR - BI CENNETE BAKAR

DAMIN EIH, A.L.K. & BROTHER CLARK - NEVER MIND 





 

On many hard-core psych collectors' Top Ten lists, this insanely rare and impossible-to-describe 1973 brain-fryer from Minneapolis is utterly soaked with mystic, thoroughly-dosed higher-key psychedelia.  A truly unhinged gem of out-there, acid-dipped genius, with quavering vocals, flanged-out guitars and effects, acoustic ramble, and fuzz confusion.  Damin Eih wandered off to India to clear his head after leaving behind this lone, legendary offering, never to be heard from again.  Painstakingly and spectacularly remastered from two virgin copies of the original vinyl with the full participation of Brother Clark (the others are lost and presumed dead), this treasure is now rescued from the deepest catacombs of psychedelic fatso obscurity for all to hear. 180 gram vinyl, original insert reproduction, and twenty-eight pt. craft stock with old school paste-on sleeves.

    When Music Maker Foundation took the latest version of our Music Maker Blues Revue to the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival in Colorado, the band included a guitar player and singer from Atlanta named Hermon Hitson. He was brand new to the Music Maker family, but he had a musical track record of more than 50 years, playing with the likes of Jimi Hendrix, James Brown and many others.
